So if you plan to visit the states soon, even though the value of malaysian ringgit now is bad, you come to the right place because I'll list you 5 places must-visit in Los Angeles without paying a dime!
GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY
Griffith oberservatory is around 30 minutes away from the LA
city, so you may need uber to get there and it’s around 13-17USD. Griffith is
where you can the whole of LA, it’s definitely a must-place to go because from
there, LA looks indredible. On top of that, you can even enter the museum cuz
it’s free! The museum showcased how telescope was invented all that kind of
scientific stuff. It may be interesting for some of you.
WALK AROUND HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD
Walk around Hollywood boulevard is where most tourist go. You can enjoy just being there people-watching because there’s really a lot to see, literally. Bizarre human with bizarre fashion. People busking around, people dressed as celebrities legends walking around asking for their pictures taken with tips that needs to be covered as well. LOL. And ofcourse, the famous walk of fame!
WINDOW SHOPPING IN MELROSE AVENUE
Window shopping around Melrose avenue. If you have the money, go ahead, shop because it’s a gret place to shop for unique items that you do not normally get in your country, especially in my country – Malaysia. But really, window shopping can be really satisfying in Melrose Avenue because again, there’s a lot of things to see, from high-end brands to street brands to weird and psychedelic shops. It gets pretty interesting to see and you can’t really walk the whole of Melrose Avenue because it’s far end to another far end!
SUN TANNING ON LA BEACHES
If you went to LA and never gone to any beaches. You never really visited LA. LA’s beaches are really beautiful, and when you’re there, you just wanna stay there the whole weekend because it is that amazing and beautiful. 2 of the most famous beaches in LA I went was Santa Monica & Venice beach. Picture perfect and a great leisure.
HIKE TO HOLLYWOOD SIGN
Hollywood sign hike. Hollywood sign hike is free and it’s good for the body and mind, obviously. Another strike off your bucket list if you actually hike the mountains where Hollywood signs at. It’s tiring cuz it may take up to 2 hours but when you get there and strike a pose by the Hollywood sign, that memory is priceless. Too bad, I couldn’t hike because I had blisters all over my feet. D: but, I’ll definitely hike that mountain when I go back to LA!
URBAN LIGHTS (LACMA)
Visit the famous beautiful structure of LACMA. The lights give romantic vibe into the night and for vain people like me, it's a beautiful place to take great pictures! Best of all, it's free!
Please note that going around in Los Angeles may be very inconvenient, so please take uber around, it's cheaper compared to the regular taxis!
